To adjust the number of visible pixels displayed on your display

NVIDIA note Adjust the number of visible pixels displayed on my displayNote: You must be an advanced user and have knowledge of display timing concepts in order to work with custom timings for your HDTV display.

  1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under Display, click Change resolution.

  2. Click the image that represents the display you want to affect.

  3. Make your adjustments by either editing an existing custom resolution, or creating a new custom resolution.

Editing an existing custom resolution

  1. Click Customise, then from the list that appears in the Resolutions box, select the custom resolution you want to edit.

  2. Click the edit icon or press Enter on your keyboard.

  3. From the Edit Custom Resolution dialogue box, click the Timing group box arrow as needed to show the additional settings.

  4. Click the up or down arrows to edit the values in the Horizontal or Vertical Active pixel spin box.

  5. Click Test, then if the test passes and you want to save the new mode, click Save.

Creating a new custom resolution

  1. Click Customise, then from the Customise dialogue box, click Create Custom Resolutions.

  2. From the Create Custom Resolution dialogue box, click the Timing group box arrow as needed to show the additional settings.

  3. Click the up or down arrows to edit the values in the Horizontal or Vertical Active pixel spin box.

  4. Click Test, then if the test passes and you want to save the new mode, click Save.
