To use additional displays besides the displays used for Surround

  1. From the NVIDIA Control Panel navigation tree pane, under 3D Settings, select Configure Surround to open the associated page.

Depending on the graphics cards installed, the link and page title may also include SLI, PhysX, or multi-GPU configuration.

  2. Under SLI configuration, click Span display with Surround, then click Configure displays to launch the wizard.

  3. Follow the instructions in the wizard, and at the “How do you want to use your GPUs?” screen, select Dedicate a GPU to additional displays or PhysX.

For non-Surround use, you can use only the displays connected to the non-Surround dedicated GPU. You cannot use a display connected to a GPU already dedicated to Surround. Such displays will not light and are not visible to the Windows control panel.

  4. Complete the wizard, connect the additional display to the newly reserved card, then use the Windows Control Panel or the NVIDIA Control Panel to activate the display.
